With rising affordability, regional leaders meeting to discuss solutions and a path forward.
FORT FRANCES — As Ontarians are faced with rising costs of living, it is important for regional leadership to come together to discuss ways to keep costs down. The Fort Frances – International Falls bridge serves as an important economic corridor, and the ability to cross is essential to many workers and families living within the area. This is why, Member of Provincial Parliament Greg Rickford and Mayor of Andre Hallikas will be forming a multi-level table to discuss the issue of rising bridge tolls. The table will be comprised of political leaders on both sides of the border and Indigenous leadership. We are pleased to hear that the Government of Canada’s will be joining us for this important forum.
“As leaders, we have an obligation to advocate for constituents on matters that affect their household budgets,” said Member of Provincial Parliament Greg Rickford. “We welcome Aazhogan LP’s openness to further dialoague, and I’d like to thank Mayor Hallikas for his work on this important matter as we pursue solutions for Northerners.”
